(born 1943), US basketball player and politician; full name William Warren Bradley. He played professionally for the New York Knicks 1967–77 before entering politics. A New Jersey Democrat, he served as a US senator 1979–97. In 2000, he unsuccessfully campaigned to be the Democratic presidential nominee. Basketball Hall of Fame (1983).
