(born 1925), US actor and comedian; full name Richard Wayne Van Dyke. He starred in the television series The Dick Van Dyke Show (1961–66) and Diagnosis Murder (1993–2001). His movies include Bye Bye Birdie (1963), which he also did on Broadway 1960–61, and Mary Poppins (1965).
